City and highway driving experience can promote the students’ self-confidence and develop the driving skills necessary for proficient and safe operation of a tractor-trailer. The program prepares students for the CDL Temporary Permit Test, CDL Skills Test, and entry-level employment as a driver in the trucking industry.
- 600 Master Truck Driver Training Program– Individuals who have no prior knowledge or experience in tractor-trailer driving and who are seeking more advanced training are a good fit for this program. This program is designed to significantly enhance students’ driving proficiency and includes safe operating procedures, vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance troubleshooting. Extensive driving techniques and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and servicing tractor-trailer systems can make students confident in their abilities to safely operate a tractor-trailer. This program offers a paid externship option with a qualified driver trainer providing real world industry experience. The program prepares students for the CDL Temporary Permit Test, CDL Skills Test, and entry-level employment as a driver in the trucking industry.
