My experience may vary from others because of how I look at life. I take adversity head first and went during a time when the cdl requirements transitioned. School was more than willing to provide extra help even after my classes ended in order to ensure test was passed. If you are a motivated student anyone in this facility will go above and beyond to help you out. If you are not motivated they will still encourage you to learn. The equipment is not brand new. But it works well and clearly works good enough to train on to get your license. They have manual and automatic trucks to train on. If I could change anything about the school I wouldn’t. Is it perfect ? No. Is life perfect? No. Hamrick was great to me and if anyone is thinking of giving it a try I would say do it . This is just an honest review. I took the 600hr course so I was able to see a lot during my time. I’m more than happy with my choice

Everyone at this school goes far beyond their job to make sure you succeed in trucking. The instructors years of experience and knowledge was key to this new drivers success. THANKS HAMRICK!

You will always feel attended to. Small 3/4 person groups per instructor means an in depth hands on approach to learning the truck.

I'm glad to have picked this school. My experience at Hamrick school was great! The management staff helped me thru all process since day 1 until I graduated. The instructors really helped out. You learn everything you have to know and more to pass your state exam. Thank you guys so much I will miss you all.

I'm happy that I chose this school to train for my Class A CDLs. It was a fun experience the whole way through! Hattie, John, Rob (Pops), Brad, and Jason (Pumpkin), were all great instructors that helped me get through the process. I'll miss them forever!!!

My experience with Hamrick was amazing. It is negative things I can say about people's attitude however I am a woman and was surrounded by a lot of men so that made me not take things too personal or be sensitive. Now from first meeting with the lady who helped with the tuition I knew I was in the right place. Al was my in class instructor and he did a very excellent job. And the rest was up to me. Hamrick gave me the skills that prepared me to be confident in myself as a professional driver. I came thru the doors with no knowledge of truck driving. And I left with a Class A and passenger endorsement. And that was because of what they taught me. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this school. All the staff are there to assist you so if you put in the work come in when you are supposed to and learn to listen you will have knowledge of everything you need when it is time for you to test and start working. I recommend this school.

Im currently still in school right now at Hamrick completing the 600 hr program and I will say I am getting a good experience from all staff from front office to the yard instructors , maintenance and yard mechanics, Ms Hattie Ms Judy Poppa C , Courtney and ed are all very helpful and patient with students throughout this course they push you to work hard and will go above to make sure you understand what you are doing and comfortable behind the wheel. I hope I can get a chance to get out on the road a few more times with poppa c before I graduate to make sure I’m doing everything correctly from up shifting and down shifting I totally recommend this school to obtain your CDL.

I went to school here in 2000. It was a great school then and is a great school now. I came back in 2015 to become an Instructor and have been a part time instructor many times for them since. I would Highly recommend that if you want a career with a solid future where you will always be in demand. Hamrick is the place you want to go to. They are the only Accredited truck driving school in north eastern Ohio. The Instructors are great and have years and years experience to pass on. There is another review on here from a former employee with a grudge. Do not let his anger fuel your decision. If you are interested is driving a truck come check this school out for yourself... you will not regret it.

Hamrick instructors and school director all were very helpful in helping me by being flexible and understanding. I came there to learn how to drive a truck and that’s exactly what I learned. Special thanks to all the staff for their unwavering support.
