The Massage Therapy program at Hamrick School is designed to help you gain the knowledge and practical experience you’ll use in your future career:

• You’ll begin with classroom instruction. This will teach you about the anatomy and structure of the human body and fundamental theories that provide the rationale for therapeutic application of massage.
• Next, your lab instruction portion of the program will allow you to put your new knowledge into practice. You’ll learn how to assess your clients’ individual needs and to develop customized massage programs to meet those needs. You’ll also explore how massage therapy techniques can be applied and the effects these techniques have on the body.
• Finally, you’ll gain real-world experience in the clinic portion of the Massage Therapy program. Here, you’ll practice your massage skills on the public as your instructors supervise and assist you.
